Girl in a jacket

If you are looking for a file, it has probably moved here:

http://xayr.gay/portfolio/personal

What happened? Why did this move?

Unfortunately, it's quite a long list of events. But what you need to know is that the Gabonese Republic has moved control of the .GA tld to the ANINF. As part of this process, I have lost control over the 'xayr.ga' domain. So the future of my website for now is uncertain.

For the time being, it appears to be parked for a year with my previous NS configuration, which is nice!

However, I'd like to see links migrated to xayr.gay instead!

I've never heard of anything like this happening in my lifetime, how did this all happen? Why?

Facebook. To my understanding, what happened is Facebook sued Freenom, my registrar for the .ga domain, and lobbied (or perhaps the attention caused this ruckus!) for the owners of the TLD's they distributed to revoke their authorization to operate those TLD's. Gabon bit took the bait ... Which I didn't know was possible (confidence inspiring for buying domains, huh?. To be fair, there WAS a phishing problem with these domains). For a time period, the Gabonese Republic removed and shut down all .ga TLD's while handing them over to acredided registrars. Freenom was not cooperative, and didn't provide any customer data for the domains they had, thus many got shut down. Others, more active domains got redistributed to other registrars for eventual resale, and most got parked for a year with those registrars.

Currently, xayr.ga is parked with a registrar called 'SafeLinks Inc' until 08.06.2024, I can't re-register, but have asked them for a transfer code. As I haven't received a response from their customer support, I put this page up to protect the future security of my users.
